1987 Belgian Diostory Catalogue IIn 1987 Hasbro MB Belgium released its first diostory catalogue.
This catalogue introduced the new characters and vehicles that were sold in Belgium that year. This catalogue features a seven page story. In each panel a new toy is shown and named. It is worth noting that some of the character names were changed in Belgium. This would become common practice across continental Europe, while the United Kingdom kept the same names as the original U.S. releases. These booklets were available in toy shops. This differs from the regular catalogues which were inserted in vehicle boxes. The awesome diorama scenes shown in these catalogues would become a hallmark of Belgian/Dutch paperwork, and these photographs would even be used in other countries, like Spain. |
