1988 Operación "Top Secret" leaflet

Picture

The first promo released in Spain was this 2-page contest. It was included in children comic magazines like "Guai!" and "Mortadelo".

Children has to answer four questions: "In which military academy studied Hawk?"; "Which evil discipline has developed Dr. Mindbender?"; "What are the B.A.T.s?"; "What is the specialty of Wet-Suit?"

The prizes were one Defiant Space Shuttle, five Moray Hydrofoils, 50 Stinger jeeps and 100 Outpost Defenders, Surveillance Ports and L.A.W.s. None of these toys were never available in Spain.

As you can see, Cobra was renamed as Cupra due to legal issues with another local toy company. This name would be used until the end of the line in the country in 1994.

The contest was also released as a leaflet for toy shops. Unfortunately, it is very rare and here only can be shown a sample with the contest square cut.
